Former Apple partner-in-arms Steve Wozniak wrote, " Keeping family dinner despite the disturbing news. (@ Outback Steakhouse)," while entrepreneur Bill Rancic said, "Today we lost an amazing innovator....RIP Steve Jobs," and even President Barack Obama tweeted, "Rest in peace, Steve Jobs. From all of us at #Obama2012, thank you for the work you make possible every day—including ours."
That was just the beginning of the flood of warm words for Mr. Apple himself...
Among the short but sweet RIPs by stars like Rob Kardashian, Pete Wentz, Jordin Sparks and Maria Menounos (just to name a few), other celeb tweeters acknowledged the impact Jobs made in their lives.
Ashton Kutcher wrote, "Design is not just what it looks like and feels like. Design is how it works. - Steve Jobs RIP"
"RIP Steve Jobs. What an incredible man. He will leave a legacy that will go far beyond his inventions...," tweeted Busy Phillips.
Emmy Rossum tweeted, "Rest In Peace, Steve Jobs. A true genius and kind man. I was lucky to meet him and his family when I was a young child. He will be missed."
"R.I.P Steve Jobs. Someone who definitely left his mark on this world! Innovations that will live and last forever!!" said LeBron James.

Trying to make light of the situation, Eli Roth tweeted, "You guys I'm sad about Steve Jobs too but SteveJobs2 comes out in like a month."
Mark Zuckerberg opted for posting his condolences on Facebook (naturally), saying, "Steve, thank you for being a mentor and a friend. Thanks for showing that what you build can change the world. I will miss you."
Apple's Board of Directors released a statement, saying, "We are deeply saddened to announce that Steve Jobs passed away today. Steve's brilliance, passion and energy were the source of countless innovations that enrich and improve all of our lives. The world is immeasurably better because of Steve. His greatest love was for his wife, Laurene, and his family. Our hearts go out to them and to all who were touched by his extraordinary gifts."
