Rick Ross needs more rest.

The self-proclaimed Teflon Don has canceled a concert in Atlanta so he can continue to recover from two seizures he suffered last Friday.

Georgia's the last thing on his mind understandably.

Per Georgia State officials, the rapper was supposed to perform at a homecoming bash that was scheduled for this Friday at the Tabernacle, but his illness prompted him to pull out.

"We are disappointed he had to cancel, but completely understand that Rick Ross needs to take care of…himself at this time. We hope he is better soon," concerts director George F. Baker III said in a statement given to local station WSB.

Because the cancellation is last-minute, organizers don't have enough time to find another artist to replace the rapper so students will be offered a full refund at point of purchase.

A rep for Ross was unavailable for comment.

Ross initially suffered a seizure on a Delta flight to Memphis, where he was set to appear at the grand opening of his chicken restaurant. The plane had to return to Ft. Lauderdale and make an emergency landing so the MC could be treated at a local hospital. Later that day, Ross hopped a private jet, but that had to divert to Birmingham, Ala., when he suffered a second seizure, and he ended up hospitalized there.

The hip-hopster finally made it to Memphis on Sunday where touring pal DJ Khaled posted a twitpic of Ross outside the chicken shack.

No word yet whether Ross will show up as scheduled to perform with Busta Rhymes at a gig at the Nokia Theater in Los Angeles this Sunday.
