Oh, Prometheus, you tease.

When you hear about a movie focusing on a group of explorers (including hotties like Swedish Girl With the Dragon Tattoo star Noomi Rapace and Charlize Theron) journeying to the ends of the universe in hopes of finding out the origins of mankind, only to then have the responsibility of saving the human race slammed on their shoulders, you get super pumped to find out what happens, right?

Well, the trailer for the June 2012 flick has been released and after watching it, we learned...

Not much.

We do get a number of quick snapshots of scenes in outer space, with some running, yelling, pleading and explosions. It's intercut with the tagline text, "They went looking for our beginning. What they found, could be our end."

Oh, and about a split second of Idris Elba's face.

Well, you succeeded, teaser trailer: We want more! Not just of Elba's face, but of Michael Fassbender, Guy Pearce, Patrick Wilson, and maybe a confirmation that this is indeed a prequel to Alien?

What do you think? Are we asking for too much? Sound off in the comments!
