Michael Fassbender fans, this is the day that proves dreams really do come true.

As part of its viral campaign to promote Ridley Scott's Prometheus, Fox has created an advertisement for "David." What (or who) is "David" exactly? It's only the single best gift you could receive this year. Spoiler alert: it has feelings—and it even cries for you...

"I can carry out directives that my human counterparts might find distressing or unethical."

So says "David," the newest android from the fictional Weyland Corporation in a faux commercial released by Fox via Mashable today. In other words, a Michael Fassbender robot with a creepy (yet caring) blue-eyed stare.

It's quite the clever way to introduce audiences to the character of "David," who is the butler and maintenance worker on the Prometheus in the film. Look! He stares at flowers with a wonderstruck expression! He thinks about children playing! He's very handsome! He hates war and unnecessary violence! That last part seems to be an ominous warning, don't you think?

It looks like you can even unwrap him. The perfect gift!

You can learn more about "David" (and the film) at ProjectPrometheus.com. Prometheus hits theaters June 8.
