A tribute concert remembering the King of Pop has finally been put together.

Michael Jackson's mom, Katherine, sister La Toya, and brothers Tito, Marlon and Jackie have teamed up with producers Global Live Events for Michael Forever—The Tribute Concert at the Millennium Stadium in Cardiff, Wales, on Oct. 8.

However, not all of the Jackson family is on board...

Brothers Jermaine and Randy Jackson are of course up for a tribute remembering their late brother, but it's the date they have an issue with. They released a statement saying they opposed the show because it will be held during the trial of Dr. Conrad Murrray, who is charged in their brother's death.

"While we wholeheartedly support the spirit of a tribute that honors our brother, we find it impossible to support an event that is due to take place during the criminal trial surrounding Michael's death," the brothers posted on their Twitter accounts.

Katherine Jackson has stated that she will be present at the tribute on that day regardless, and is reassured that it will be exactly what she wanted for her son. "I have been approached by many people with a variety of ventures such as this. Global Live Events LLP is the first company to present me with a vision that will produce an authentic and memorable tribute that my son would love," Jackson's mother told the BBC.

Global Live Events President Chris Hunt said, "We wanted to do something decent and worthy of Michael's musical genius, yet something fun and authentic that you would envision Michael attending with excitement and joy, surrounded by talent that he respected and loved."

Of course, we have no idea how big this is going to be—participating performers have yet to be announced.
