Time to get your Golden Globes drink on.

If there's one overriding reason why the Hollywood Foreign Press Association's annual shindig seems much more relaxed than other similar affairs it's because of, well, alcohol.

The celebs are not only eating dinner during the show, but they're also downing lots of champers!

It should be no different when the 69th Annual Golden Globes takes place Jan. 15 at the Beverly Hilton Hotel...

"There's going to be a lot of champagne," Moët & Chandon ambassador and Food Network star Aida Mollenkamp told me earlier today at the Globes menu preview event. "Over 9,000 glasses will be poured throughout the night."

Not only will there be 1,000 Imperial mini bottles handed out on the red carpet and in the ballroom, but the night also includes 500 Grand Vintage 2002 magnums.

Mollenkamp predicts someone will try to snatch a magnum. "They would have good cause to, because it's a commemorative bottle," she said. "You can't find it anywhere else."

Also likely to be grabbed on the way out? Table centerpieces by Mark's Garden. About 100 arrangements will use about 20,000 flowers, including roses, orchids, hydrangea and calla lilies.

"Basically, all the flowers disappear at this event," Mark's Garden owner Mark Held said. "I think it's great. They're beautiful, so why let them go to waste?"
