To call Jay-Z a proud papa is probably an understatement.

Less than 48 hours after he and wife Beyoncé welcomed daughter Blue Ivy into the world, the rapper has already expressed his happiness in a song titled "Glory."

The new father just posted the heartfelt track to his Life + Times website along with a photo of the Empire State Building lit up, naturally, in blue with the caption: Life just got REALLY good."

"I paint the sky blue, my greatest creation was you," he notes early on in the recording, adding: "The most amazing feeling I feel, words can't describe what I'm feeling for real."

He goes on to creatively reference his wife with such lyrics as "You're the child of destiny/You're the child of my destiny/You're my child with the child from Destiny's Child/That's a helluva recipe."

Later, Jay-Z notes how Blue Ivy was conceived in Paris and reveals that Beyoncé once suffered a miscarriage.

"Last time the miscarriage was so tragic/We was afraid you'd disappear/But nah baby, you're magic," he raps.

He ends by saying that "the most beautiful thing in this world is daddy's little girl" and "life is a gift, open it up."

Well, with a daddy like this, it sounds like this little girl's life is off to a pretty a good start.
