Talk about a lucky newcomer!
Rising star Elizabeth Olsen is not only getting all types of awards-season buzz for her breakout role in the indie drama Martha Marcy May Marlene, but she can also say she's locked lips with...Chace Crawford!
Here's what happened...
The Gossip Girl hottie was Olsen's first onscreen kiss in the upcoming dramedy Peace, Love and Misunderstanding.
"He's like the master of it with Gossip Girl—they make out with each other all the time," Olsen told me the other day while promoting Martha (in theaters today). "I felt like I was in good hands, because I didn't know what the rules are when you kiss someone. You don't, well...I think it's a good rule that you don't use tongue."
They certainly didn't. "Chace is a good guy," Olsen said. "He's very southern."
If for some reason you haven't heard by now, Olsen is Mary-Kate and Ashley's little sister. And like the world-famous twins, Elizabeth is now attracting major attention from the fashion world.
A recent issue of Nylon marked her debut on the cover of a magazine.
"It was terrifying," Olsen said. "That was my first real photo shoot and I don't know how to model clothes. I don't know what to do with my body. I felt like such an idiot. I know only one pose—I put my hand on my hip and I stand there and try to have good posture."
She'll be seen modeling Chanel couture in the December issue of Marie Claire. "I had the stylist for the shoot stand behind the photographer the whole time and do poses," Olsen said. "I just did what she did."
We have a feeling there's going to be a lot more photo shoots coming down the pike for the blond beauty. "She's phenomenal," says her Martha costar John Hawkes. "She's beautiful, bright and witty."
