Kim Kardashian is back on her home turf.
After a whirlwind, understandably truncated promotional trip to Australia, the E! reality star landed back in Los Angeles this morning, where she will likely do her best to keep a low (or at least, lower) profile in the wake of massive media attention over her divorce from Kris Humphries.
Kim touched down in Australia on Tuesday afternoon, but two days of the headline-making, intensively scrutinized trip were plenty, and yesterday, the hounded 31-year-old pulled out of her final scheduled appearance at the Melbourne races in order to return home and be close to her family and friends during this difficult personal time.
But Kardashian certainly made the most of her visit, giving her first live TV appearance in Sydney, where she revealed that the fallout from her 72-day marriage "teaches me I kind of want to step back a little bit."
Sister Khloé Kardashian Odom also returned home with her sister, and wasted no time in tweeting their arrival.
"Australia you were amazing to us!!!! Thank you!!!!! We love you!!!!! I can't believe Lammy and I are already back in LA! That was a fast trip! We had fun though! But now I'm so jet lagged LOL."
Here's hoping Kim & Co. find the room they need now that she's back with her family. Welcome home, Kim!
