Camille Grammer started this post-divorce war with her accustaions that Kelsey Grammer was a cross-dressing kinkmeister.

But now, with a new show, Boss, to promote, Kelsey's going all out—hitting the press tour rounds hard with bombshells about having a "very difficult decade" with the reality star, whom he claims "married Frasier"—his beloved sitcom characterand not him.

So what's Kelsey saying exactly?

He's so far brought up the sticky subject of his ex-wife on Piers Morgan's talk show and has discussed how miserable he was during their time together on a morning news show in Australia, saying it was a "difficult time." Then he dismisses Camille with a wave of his hand when he's asked what he thought about her bashing him on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.

"Well it's bound to be what they do," he said on while down under. "In my mind that was my parting gift to her after a very difficult marriage and a very difficult decade. I thought maybe, 'So long, here's a little present for ya.' "

On Morgan's show, the actor talks about politics, his new Starz show, Boss, and of course, Camille, saying she was more interested in fame and money than their marriage.

"I think what I was trying to do was sell it to myself...I thought this was the kind of relationship I should try to have and it just, uh, there was still the small voice in the back of my head saying 'This isn't gonna work,' but I stuck to it," he told Morgan, who spent over two hours chatting with the actor and asked if he was just an "incurable romantic."

As for the current status of the duo, Kelsey sums it up as "not good."

"We've had some difficult moments, the only thing that I've ever really wanted was to try to work out something that would be nice for the kids," he said.

Kelsey and Camille fell apart publicly during the first season of RHOBH, when Camille said he called her up in the middle of the night to inform her he was "done'" with the marriage. They have since been embroiled in a bitter custody battle over their young children, Mason and Jude, with their lawyers in court as recently as yesterday. (The closed-door session reportedly focused on Team Kelsey's bid for a gag order for Camille. Pot...kettle?)

The Emmy winner, who describes his new role as a "not necessarity corrupt" Chicago politician, has been bashed publicly by his ex, who claimed that he wanted to "keep her preoccupied" in L.A. while he carried on an affair with his eventual fourth wife, Kayte Walsh.

Grammer had been starring in La Cage aux Follies on Broadway in New York when he met the former flight attendant and fell in love.

Camille calls her post-Kelsey life "a journey."

With a large budget.
