Katy Perry Brands Herself—Literally—at the VMAs

"California Gurls" crooner gives a special shout-out to her hubby to be on the VMAs white carpet

This brings a whole new meaning to standing by your man.

Katy Perry rocked an ode to hubby-to-be Russell Brand on her nails on the red carpet, with a fresh manicure embellished with the Brit's mug. 

Yes...those are actually mini pictures of Brand's face painted on her nails. 

We're not sure if this was a tribute to the MTV Video Music Awards, which sparked the couple's love fest when Brand hosted the show, or what. But it's pretty clear Perry isn't going to let the Get Him to the Greek star be the one that got away any time soon.
