It was a busy day for Kate Middleton.

Hours after the Duchess of Cambridge showed off her sporty side while hanging out with the Great Britain women's hockey team on Thursday, Prince William's better half paid a visit to the Dulwich Picture Gallery in London.

Kate, accompanied by Prince Charles and his wife, Camilla, made her way around the place to check out the various artwork done by a number of young people and even took time out to chat with the aspiring Picassos.

At one point, the duchess and her father-in-law even got in on the art action by working on a project that involved ironing some designs into silk.

The trip to the gallery was rather significant as it marked the first time Kate had joined Charles on behalf of one of his charities—The Prince's Foundation for Children & the Arts at Dulwich.
