And the actors on Iron Man 3 are doing nothing to stem the tide of enthusiasm for the Robert Downey Jr.-starring franchise, with Gwyneth Paltrow becoming the latest star to offer fans a sneak peek at the inner workings of the set, tweeting out a photo today from the production's home base in North Carolina.
So what, if anything, did it reveal?
Well, that Pepper Potts is back on board for the next installment. And not too much else.
"Day 1 on IM3," she tweeted, alongside the link to the photo posted on her WhoSay account. "Pepper Potts! So happy to be back!"
Paltrow arrived in Raleigh just yesterday, joining RDJ and Jon Favreau, along with the rest of the cast, on set. Earlier this week, the first official photo from the production was released (which went along with Favreau's first unofficial twitpic last month).
Sadly for fans hoping to glean some cinematic tidbits from the shot, it was taken in the hair and makeup trailer and not on any closed-off sets, so the secrets of the storyline are, for now, remaining just that.
