Courtney Stodden is one step closer to being a legal voter. She turns 17 today.
Despite some big plans, the self-proclaimed "model, actress and dancer" married to 51-year-old actor Doug Hutchinson had to postpone some of her celebrating due to the L.A. heatwave.
So how was she planning to celebrate?
"Courtney and Doug were planning on going to Disneyland," her mother Krista tells E! News. "It's funny they call her the child bride, but she does love going to Disneyland. They were going to go there, but with the heat wave it's too hot."
Instead of visiting the happiest place on earth, Courtney and her husband made a backup plan.
"They're going to do a little shopping, which she does a lot," her mom says. "They'll go over by the lake and cool off, and then they'll go to an intimate dinner."
So what did Doug buy his young wife? Lingerie, of course.
"Her husband bought her some beautiful things from Victoria's Secret," Krista tells E! News. "She loves the items they have there."
Not that Court will actually be wearing them if her latest tweet if any indication.
"Celebrating the last night of being sweet-n-sexy 16 by wearing NOTHING but my tasty bday-suit!" she posted last night on her perpetually provocative Twitter.
