Jersey Shore invaded Las Vegas this weekend as The Situation and Pauly D both came to town.

The MTV reality stars hosted fistpumping parties on the same night and dished all about brawling (and smushing) with costars, the Vegas party scene vs. Italy and Pauly's very up close and personal encounter with Britney Spears.

And Mike Sorrentino gave us his two cents on the situation involving an internal-affairs investigation of the New Jersey police officers who allegedly flagged him down in his Ferrari for an autograph instead of a citation:

The Sitch insists they were just doing their job, despite the fact that he had two girls in the passenger seat, which is obviously against the law. "I happen to be just driving and I pulled over and next thing you know...a bunch of fans came over and the police were just coming over to help out. Next thing you know someone video recorded it and sent it to TMZ and you got a situation," he told me at Chateau Nightclub inside the Paris Resort, where he was hosting a soiree Saturday night.

"I don't know if they wanted an autograph or what it was but all I gotta say is the cops were really just trying to handle the situation at hand and it was getting a little too crazy and they were just trying to help out," he added.

Over at the Palms Resort, Pauly D dished on his own recent crazy encounter: he scored a lapdance from Britney Spears while deejaying her Montreal show.

"That was the best day of my life!" the deejay told me, adding that it was a total surprise when he was brought up onstage. "It was crazy. The crowd went nuts!"

Pauly was spinning at the Midsummer Night's Dream party and shared his top tips for pumping up the crowd.

"Be creative, be yourself and bring your own style," he said of working the turntables. "Put personality into your set. I have an outrageous personality and I like to think my deejay set does as well."

If you think you've got what it takes to work the ones and twos like Pauly, put your skills to test by entering the Vegas Spin Off Deejay contest, featuring celebrity judges Lil Jon and LMFAO. You may just win a trip to the Strip to spin at Surrender nightclub!
