The sixth time's the charm for Heidi Klum and Seal

The couple celebrated their fifth wedding anniversary Saturday evening by swapping vows at sunset on a beach in Costa Careyes, Mexico, according to People.

Klum and Seal have made a tradition of renewing their vows every year since they got married on May 10, 2005, making this the sixth occasion they've walked down the aisle.

"We love to renew our vows," Klum recently told Redbook. "It's our time—a lovely family time. It's about remembering this moment of love we gave to each other and reinforcing it."

Last year, the couple held a retro-style ceremony, with the 36-year-old supermodel donning cornrows and her 47-year-old singer hubby sporting a mullet.

So what was in store for the 80 guests in attendance this year?

Well, for one thing, the guests were the ones made to dress like brides and grooms.

"Just one day, I woke up and I was like, 'Oh, I know what I am going to do this year,'" Klum told E! News about her plans for the ceremony in March. "I like to have fun and I like to make it fun for my family and friends."

And that they did.

In true Klum-Seal fashion, the couple made a weekend of the event, kicking off the occasion with dinner and a karaoke party Friday night.

After the ceremony Saturday, the re-newlyweds and their guests headed to the superstar couple's home for an outdoor reception where they wined and dined under a thatched roof hut decorated with white flowers, dozens of chandeliers, and thousands of candles.
