On orders from his doctors, the singer-songwriter has scuttled several shows to recuperate.
Which cities are out of luck?
Per his publicist, Degraw will not be able to perform at the following shows:
- Aug. 14—Bethlehem, Pa.
- Aug. 15—Hersey, Pa.
- Aug. 17—Nashville
- Aug. 18—Indianapolis
- Aug. 19—Des Moines, Iowa
- Aug. 20—Chicago
- Aug. 21—Clarkston, Mich.
- Aug. 22—Toronto
As the gigs were serving as the opening act for Maroon 5 and Train, the "I Don't Want to Be" crooner will likely have to make up those dates on his own. No word whether he plans to do so.
DeGraw, 34, sustained a concussion, broken nose and cuts and bruises in the vicious brawl, which occurred late Sunday night when he was beset by a group of unidentified men approximately five block from the National Underground, a bar he co-owns with his brother in the Lower East Side.
As he fled his assailtants, the musician ended up getting hit by a cab. While he was not seriously injured in that mishap, an ambulance took him to nearby Bellevue Hospital for treatment where he then called police and reported the beating.
NYPD is probing the incident but so far has no suspects in the attack and DeGraw hasn't been much help.
After getting discharged earlier this week, he took to Twitter and said, "I don't remember much...Still sometimes seeing double. NYC looks overpopulated."
