Look at our Hills girls in their final cast photos. Lauren Conrad, Heidi Montag and Audrina Patridge are all grown up and ready to finish this thing once and for all.

It kind of makes you long for that time before the hair extensions, plastic surgery, $2,000 Balmain sandals, fancy photo shoots, useless spinoffs, Spencer Pratt.

You know, when things were just mediocre. Remember those?

How excited do they look? (Well, except Audrina, who must have always been a little pissed off.) But still, there's such hope and innocence here, before Hollywood had its way with them.

Season five, the beginning of the end, premieres next Monday, and everyone will be back, including the boyz: Justin Bobby as a cleaner Joaquin Phoenix, Spencer Pratt as an Apprentice contestant and Brody Jenner as Mr. Perfect Jawline.

We were kind of excited and relieved to have The Hills back—until Lauren started talking, and she doesn't seem that into it. She admits she didn't even want to do this season, but, you know, producers. "I actually thought last season was going to be my last," she tells EW. "[But] the producers wanted to hopefully give the show some sort of closure and needed one more season."

And then this is how she sells the show: "I didn't have that much conflict in my life over the last few months. I think I only cry in one episode." So yeah, someone's way over it.  She's just ready to move on and start producing. One of the possible projects she mentions working on is adapting her young-adult books, which are loosely based on The Hills, into a TV series that will actually admit it's scripted. The Hills just keeps on giving.

In other Hills news, a new season means these two dingbats are back releasing songs.

Yep, Boobs and Blue Steel Face were on Ryan Seacrest's KIIS-FM show this morning, where they premiered Heidi's new single "Look How I'm Doing." And since it's a national holiday, it was over to Perez Hilton to debut "Your Love Found Me." Both singles and Heidi's complete catalog of hits are here.
