Demi Moore's Twitter Name Change Is "Not a Priority Right Now"

We wondered why Ashton Kutcher’s soon-to-be ex hadn’t swapped out her Twitter name

We all know how hard breakups are, right? You burn some pictures, eat some ice cream (or opt for an adult beverage or two) and cry your eyes out. Oh, and if you happened to have your ex's name in your Twitter handle, you delete it pronto.

But it seems Demi Moore—or @mrskutcher, as she's known to her followers—isn't onboard with that one. Which got us to wondering: Why hasn't Dem swapped out her Twitter name yet? And where the heck was she over the Thanksgiving break?!

Let's start with the tweety biz, shall we:

As we're sure you know, we've been rooting for this cougarific couple since day one, so we couldn't help but wonder if the non-Twitter name change meant that the couple may still have a chance at survival...

Sadly, nope. The divorce is still a go!

So what about that @mrskutcher handle? A source says that she is technically still married and it isn't a priority at the moment.

Touché to that! But when you have assistants at your call, you're telling us no one could think to switch things up to, say, @msmoore (since that is her legal name, after all)?

Maybe she can get  Ashton's Twitter management team in the split...

But maybe the bigger Q: Where is Demi lately?

In a perfect world, we'd hope Demi spent the last week at home chowing down on a turkey leg with all the fixings and will reemerge with a couple of those lbs. she shed packed back on and looking healthier than recently.

But while her daughters and ex-hubby Bruce Willis were in Paris for Thanksgiving, the only presence Ms. Moore made was via (duh) Twitter:

"Why do we have only 1 day for giving thanks? Is that why so many people feel unappreciated? Make this 1 of 365 days of Thanksgiving!" she blasted.

Aw, keeping things positive. We totally dig it. Especially since Demi deserves to enjoy the calm before the storm (ya know, since this is a multi-million dollar divorce. Things sometimes get nasty).
