Demi Lovato, Eva Longoria, Jessica Alba and Glee's Naya Rivera Win Big at ALMA Awards

Stars come out for show that recognizes the achievements of Hispanic artists

Who says you need to have released your own album to win the award for favorite female music artist?

Not Glee's Naya Rivera, that's for sure!

The 24-year-old actress and singer received that honor on Saturday night at the 2011 ALMA Awards, which recognizes the achievements of Latino artists in movies, TV and music.

The night's other big winners include Jessica Alba, who took home the award for favorite drama/adventure actress for her sexy turn in Machete, and Demi Lovato, who won favorite comedy actress on TV (Sonny With a Chance).

Desperate Housewives, which will end next season, was shown some love, winning favorite television series.

 

The awards ceremony, hosted by Eva Longoria and George Lopez, airs Friday, Sept. 16 on NBC and will feature performances from Lovato, Pitbull and Gloria Estefan and appearances by Benjamin Bratt, Mario Lopez, Aubrey Plaza, Michael Trevino, Marcia Cross, Felicity Huffman and more!
