Say hello to a new Baldwin babe.

Daniel, the second-oldest of the famed siblings, welcomed his first child with wife Joanne Smith-Baldwin, daughter Avis Ann Baldwin, on Thursday in Los Angeles, according to People

Avis Ann was born at 12:59 a.m. at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, weighing 7 pounds, 10 ounces.

"Thank god she looks like her mother," Baldwin said.

This is the fourth child for the 47-year-old actor and the first for Smith. Baldwin has two daughters from two previous marriages and a son with actress Isabella Hoffman.

Smith, a former model, met her husband while she was working as a chef at the Malibu rehab facility where Baldwin spent some time early last year.

The duo tied the knot July 28 in an under-the-radar ceremony.

Last February, Baldwin's lawyer said during a progress report hearing that the actor, who had battled substance abuse and had multiple run-ins with the law, was sober and "doing exceptional." And despite a few misunderstandings that have resulted in missed court dates and a couple of arrest warrants, both of which were dismissed, the recent reality-show participant seems healthy and happy these days.

"The fourth time's a charm. We feel blessed," Baldwin told People, adding that question now is, "Do we have another one right away or do we wait a while? We're not sure, but practicing is gonna be fun."

The actor is currently featured on VH1's Celebrity Rehab with Dr. Drew, in which Baldwin and a handful of other celebs, including former Surreal Life housemate Brigitte Nielsen and American Idol also-ran Jessica Sierra, check into a Pasadena detox center and have Love Line host Dr. Drew Pinsky help straighten them out.

Baldwin, a veteran of nine stints in rehab and already long sober when he appeared on the show, has gained notice from TV critics for being the one who seems to be both taking his addictions seriously and is seriously committed to staying clean.

One Los Angeles Times reviewer wrote: "It's Baldwin, oozing his family's signature charisma, who cuts the most intriguing figure."
