Coldplay fans, in need of a smile?

Well, the English rockers released online today a colorful, graffiti-inspired music video to their new single, "Every Teardrop Is a Waterfall," off their yet-to-be-titled fifth album due out later this year.

Combining stop motion photography with smatterings of paint animating the song's dreamy lyrics, the lively clip shows Chris Martin and company performing their signature brand of pop uplift amidst an industrial landscape straight out of New York City circa the 1980s. And given the recent change of direction on their last album, Viva La Vida or Death and All His Friends to a more stripped down acoustic feel, the buouyant, joyous "Every Teardrop" is a fitting return to form.

Welcome back boys.
