Every little step Bobby Brown took this weekend led him to the altar.

The late Whitney Houston's ex happily swapped vows with fiancée Alicia Etheridge on Monday in a ceremony in Honolulu, Hawaii, surrounded by close friends and relatives.

There was one family member who was a no-show, however...

Alas, Bobbi Kristina, Brown's 19-year-old daughter with Houston, skipped the wedding. Per reports, Bobbi was shooting scenes with boyfriend Nick Gordon in New York for her forthcoming Lifetime reality series, The Houston Chronicles.

In any case, by all accounts it was a festive affair, with the 43-year-old Brown's other kids in attendance including 23-year-old Landon, 22-year-old La'Princia, 19-year-old Bobby Jr. and 3-year-old Cassius, the singer's sole child so far with Etheridge.

Bobby Jr. subsequently tweeted a picture on Instagram of the newlyweds posing with children. The bride wore a white strapless gown with accompanying necklace, while the groom opted for a bright red suit, shirt, Adidas and a giant lei.

The nuptials occurred one day after Brown and his bandmates in New Edition performed in the Hawaii capital and he announced from the stage his intention to tie the knot while he was in town—this after popping the question to Etheridge at a May 2010 performance in Jacksonville, Fla.

He definitely kept his promise. Yesterday's celebration marks his second marriage.

No word yet on honeymoon plans as Brown's still got plenty of dates left on New Edition's current U.S. trek, which resumes on June 23 in Oakland, Calif.
