The new cast for Bachelor Pad 3 unveiled this morning by ABC promises to spark plenty of watercooler discussion this summer, thanks to its infamous reality castoffs from The Bachelor and The Bachelorette.
But none are more notorious than Kalon McMahon, the dude who got the boot from the latter show this week after calling Emily Maynard's daughter "baggage," and Michael Stagliano, last season's Bachelor Pad winner who learned money can't buy him a mate.
The latter, a breakdance instructor who first appeared on season five of The Bachelorette, had to suffer through the indignity on Bachelor Pad 2 as his former fiancée Holly Durst fell in love with rival Blake Julian and later got married.
Stagliano will be competing on the men's side, among others against Ryan Hoag, the former NFL player who failed to get a rose from Bachelorette DeAnna Pappas (who, as it happened, went on to marry Stagliano's brother, Stephen). They'll be joined by a mystery man who's yet to be eliminated from the current season of The Bachelorette.
As for the women, there's Bachelor Pad 2 reject Erica Rose and five women who got the brushoff from Ben Flajnik on season 16 of The Bachelor.
This season will also include five dedicated "Super Fans," who were chosen after an open casting call—like 24-year-old JumboTron operator Paige Vigil and 22-year-old twins Brittany and Erica Taltos.
Bachelor Pad 3, hosted once again by Chris Harrison, will have its two-hour season premiere on July 23 on ABC.
