Amanda Bynes was arrested early this morning on a misdemeanor DUI charge after getting into a minor fender bender with L.A.'s Finest.

The Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department tells E! News that a black-and-white was preparing to turn right in West Hollywood at approximately 3 a.m. when the 26-year-old thesp, driving a black BMW, allegedly tried to pass and collided with the right rear panel of the cruiser, causing minor paint damage to both vehicles.
Upon further investigation, the officer suspected the Easy A star had been drinking and subsequently arrested her for driving under the influence.
Bynes was booked at the West Hollywood Sheriff's Station and bail was set at $5,000. She was released this morning without being required to pay the bond and was issued a citation. She'll still have to report to court, though no date has been set. An investigation is ongoing.
Amanda's rep was unavailable for comment.
This isn't the first time Bynes has found herself in trouble with the law.
Per TMZ, the lilac-haired actress was also pulled over by cops on March 7 for allegedly talking on her cell phone and then allegedly bolted from the scene before the deputy could finish up writing her ticket. She was not arrested, however. Later that day, Bynes returned to the police station to sign her ticket.
Ironically, the day before that incident she tweeted: "Live fast die young bad girls do it well!"
