Aw, Poor Puppy! Selena Gomez's Newly Adopted Dog Needs Surgery

Singer tweets that her blue-eyed Husky mix, Baylor, fell ill and will have an operation soon

Selena Gomez is aready finding out what it means to be a worried mom.

The Disney star's newly adopted pup, Baylor, is sick and now needs surgery, Justin Bieber's girlfriend sadly tweeted today...

"My baby is sick :( praying for his surgery," she wrote, attaching a picture of the little guy lying down.

No word on what's wrong with the cute canine, whom Selena adopted just weeks ago from D'Arcy's Animal Rescue Centre in Winnipeg, Canada. The Biebs was along for that trip, although he has said the Husky mix is not his, but "a friend's."

Selena picked the lucky dog after hours of looking around at the shelter.
