After fans of the Bravo reality TV series watched as Thomas Ravenel's new girlfriend continued to butt heads with the mother of his two children, Kate Casey of the Reality Life With Kate Casey podcast claims to have confirmed T. Rav and Ashley are no longer together. Casey said she heard the news straight from Ashley herself, who allegedly took responsibility for breaking things off with the controversial bachelor and said she's since blocked his number.
As Casey explained, "...[She] really had come to the conclusion that she was going to set up a new life, away from Santa Barbara, in another state across the country." But after having a conversation with Ashley about the "chaos" that came with dating Ravenel, Casey said, "I think it actually started to work. She's told me that they've broken up, and that she has no intention of getting back together with him and I hope that's true."
So is there any truth to the rumors floating around Charleston? Ashley is pleading the fifth, but not without a few cryptic messages along the way.
She took to Instagram on Monday with a photo of South Carolina's great outdoors, captioned, "Difficult roads often lead to beautiful destinations. #TrustGod." Additionally, Ashley responded to an inquisitive fan on social media, commenting, "Sorry for any confusion. I don't plan on addressing rumors or talking about my relationship status to social media at this time."
Thomas and Ashley met in May 2017, and the Southern California native soon relocated to Charleston to start a relationship with him. At the Southern Charm reunion, which aired last month, Ashley confirmed they were still together despite the ongoing drama between her and Kathryn and the sexual assault allegations leveled against Thomas.
Two women have accused Ravenel of rape, claims which he has denied, and South Carolina police are currently investigating the alleged incidents.
During the reunion (which Ravenel did not attend), Ashley said she expects her boyfriend to be cleared of any wrongdoing, adding, "He has not been charged with anything. These are just allegations."
Meanwhile, Kathryn is celebrating her 27th birthday today and has yet to comment publicly on their rumored split.
