There's a new queen in town. The Crown season three will feature an entire new cast of acclaimed actors taking over the very famous royal roles. Gone is Emmy nominee and Golden Globe winner Claire Foy and in her place is Emmy nominee and Golden Globe winner Olivia Colman of The Night Manager and Broadchurch fame.
"I'm so thrilled to be part of The Crown, I was utterly gripped watching it, a proper ‘Just one more' feeling," Colman said in a statement at the time. "I think Claire Foy is an absolute genius, she's an incredibly hard act to follow, I'm basically going to rewatch every episode and copy her!"
Colman isn't the only new addition. Over the weekend, several outlets reported Gillian Anderson is set to join the cast as brand new addition to the series Margaret Thatcher.
