It's time to give it all you got!
On the season two finale of Revenge Body With Khloe Kardashian, we got our first couple of the season. Allison and her husband Chad are helping each other along on this journey with Khloe Kardashian, however, they both have very different motivations for being on the show.
Allison wants to lose weight, but Chad is actually looking to gain some! "We want to be healthy for each other and we want to have a family in the near future," Allison shared. "I was worried about being 200 when we were dating and now I'm worried about being 300 and that's terrifying."
"I've definitely struggled with being super skinny my whole life," Chad shared "People feel like, what an easy problem, you just need to eat more…I get full so fast." They're both prepared to make big changes, but it proved more difficult than they initially thought.
Even though they had a support system in place, Allison didn't lose as much as she needed and had to withdraw from her journey. But it actually ended up helping her to cope with some past abuse issues she was using food to heal from.
"At first I really didn't know why I wasn't losing weight," Allison shared. "Then when I was forced to be alone and away from chad and be by myself, with my thoughts, my feelings and all these things, that's when I realized, wow I have a lot of stuff that I was carrying."
As for Chad, he gained 22 pounds and now feels like a man. "Before this whole journey, I was honestly embarrassed to call myself a man or even view myself as a man," Chad revealed. "But I feel good about myself, which is weird because I've never felt that way."
Allison wasn't the only one with some past trauma to work through on this week's episode. Rebecca was attempting to rebuild her confidence after a bad breakup. After finding out her boyfriend was cheating on her, she put on a lot of weight.
"Through the breakup and the loneliness, it was another 30 pounds," she revealed to Khloe. "So 30, 40, 50, the number just keeps creeping up." After having a panic attack in her first workout, she was forced to battle some demons from her past she had been avoiding.
"When I was 18, I was in college and I was raped and that's how I lost my virginity. I never told anyone about it," she revealed in an emotional moment. By coming to terms with her experience, she was able to pull through in a real and incredible way.
"I am so ready to show up for my own life," she shared during the day of her reveal. "I wasted years not participating in life, and I don't want to do that again." In the end, it was never about getting revenge on her ex. It was about learning to accept her story and become an even stronger woman because of it!
