It seems the A-list pair kicked off their Valentine's Day celebrations early by jetting off to Costa Rica, a favorite destination for the pair, for what looks like quite the romantic getaway. The famous couple shared a sweet photo of themselves mid-smooch against a picturesque sunset backdrop.
The husband and wife of nearly nine years look cool and comfortable in laid-back outfits as they stand in the grass overlooking the water. While the view is enough to take anyone's breath away, it couldn't take Brady's mind entirely off of the New England Patriots' Super Bowl loss last week.
"This Sunday's outcome is a lot better than last Sunday's! #losingstreakstopsatone," he captioned the photo on social media. It seems now was as good a time as ever to take a vacation.
The trip also falls a little over a week before their ninth wedding anniversary as the two tied the knot on Feb. 26 back in 2009.
Meanwhile, it seems the five-time Super Bowl quarterback champion is shaking off his team's recent loss with some R&R. While he kept mum about the game for nearly a week after, Brady reemerged in the spotlight on Friday with a public message of gratitude.
"It has taken me a few days to reflect on our SB loss as well as the great season our team had," Brady penned online. "There are many emotions when you come up short of your goal. And they are all part of learning and growing in this journey of life."
As he continued, "Learning turns everything into a postitive. And the number one feeling I have had the past 4 days is gratitude."
