Yo ho, yo ho, this pirate can really sing!

The first taste of Once Upon a Time's highly-anticipated musical number has been released by ABC, and in it, Colin O'Donoghue gets to introduce the world to his impressive set of pipes as Hook and his Jolly Roger comrades treat Snow White (Ginnifer Goodwin) and Charming (Josh Dallas) to a little ditty about the priceless hunt for revenge in response to their desire to secure passage on Hook's boat. Revenge on whom, you ask?

"Just wait for second verse, lovey."

In the special episode, entitled "The Song in Your Heart," Emma's (Jennifer Morrison) wedding to Hook will prompt some flashbacks to the Enchanted Forest at a time when Snow and Charming made a special wish to keep their young daughter protected. Of course, that wish led to the entire kingdom breaking out into song, giving the Evil Queen (Lana Parrilla) one more thing to be furious over. The hour will feature seven songs written by Alan Zachary and Michael Weiner, composed by OUAT composer Mark Isham.

Per EW, aside from Hook, other characters getting in on the harmonious fun include Emma, Snow, Charming, Regina, Zelena (Rebecca Mader), Henry (Jared Gilmore), Granny (Beverley Elliott), Grumpy (Lee Arenberg) and Geppetto (Tony Amendola).

Back in Storybrooke, the Black Fairy (Jaime Murray) announces her plan to put yet another curse on the town, while Hook and Emma prepare for their fairy tale nuptials..
