There's an unexpected retailer on the Met Gala 2017 red carpet tonight: H&M.
The fast-fashion retailer is dressing four stars for the big event (Nicki Minaj, Joe Jonas, Future, and Ashley Graham)—aren't you curious to see?
"You think H&M: casual, chic, basics and you see this," said Ashley as she walked E! News corespondent Zanna Roberts Rossi through the theme behind the show-stopping red gown (catch the whole interview in the video above). "It took a month to make, and I had four fittings."
Isn't it gorgeous? Though the gala's theme is Comme des Garçons designer Rei Kawakubo, and her creations are never form-fitting, the supermodel isn't worried stating "[the dress] integrates [other] themes."
As for practicing her walk in preparation for those many Metropolitan Museum of Art steps, she said, "We've had so many fittings about length, so I practiced walking up and down stairs and around the room. You have to practice. You have to take your time on the carpet. This is the Met!"
Oh and don't get too excited about potentially owning the dress, our guess is this one goes straight from the gala to the retailer's archives vault.
