This year has been full of headline-making news surrounding divorces, breakups, hookups and controversies...but it might take the cake for being the Year of Celebrity Feuds.

It seemed like many of the biggest names in Hollywood found themselves in some type of beef with another celebrity, be it over years-long arguments, social media commentary, nude photos, music or what have you. It's also not surprising that some of the names involved in these spats happen to be repeat offenders.

Check out the nastiest feuds of 2016 below:

Taylor Swift vs. Kanye West and Kim Kardashian: Though the rapper's feud with the pop star dates back to 2009 (you know, when he famously interrupted her at the MTV VMAs), things got heated again this year.

'Ye sparked controversy among her fans, family and friends when he debuted "Famous," which contains the lyrics, "I feel like me and Taylor might still have sex/ Why? I made that bitch famous."

Though West said he spoke to Swift in advance about the lyric and got her blessing, the singer's rep said Swift was never made aware of the actual line. Then, things got even more rocky when Kim unveiled a video of Swift and West talking on the phone about the song, which seemed to prove she did, in fact, give it the OK. However, an insider said the video was edited, and Swift was still unaware that the line called her a "bitch" and talked about her owing the rapper sex.

Khloe Kardashian vs. Chloë Grace Moretz: Kim's video leak ended up creating even more beef between other stars.

For example, Moretz tweeted, "Everyone in this industry needs to get their heads out of a hole and look around to realize what's ACTUALLY happening in the REAL world. Stop wasting your voice on something so petulant and unimportant."

Of course, Kim's protective sister wasn't about to let the young star get away with that. Khloe responded to Moretz, writing, "Is this the a--hole you're referring to @ChloeGMoretz???" She included photos of what appeared to be Moretz's bare behind, but the actress later clarified it was actually a total stranger that just looked like her.

Kim Kardashian vs. Chloë Grace Moretz: While we're on the topic of Moretz and the Kardashians, we should mention she and Kim also got into it this year.

In March, the reality star shared a nude selfie with just two black bars covering her private areas. Moretz took to Twitter to voice her opinion, directing a tweet at Kim and writing, "I truly hope you realize how important setting goals are for young women, teaching them we have so much more to offer than just our bodies."

Kim clapped back the next day, tweeting, "sorry I'm late to the party guys I was busy cashing my 80 million video game check & transferring 53 million into our joint account."

She responded directly to Moretz, adding, "let's all welcome @ChloeGMoretz to twitter, since no one knows who she is." Ouch!

Kanye vs. Amber Rose and Wiz Khalifa: The two rappers exchanged rants on Twitter in January over a misunderstood use of the initials "KK," which 'Ye thought meant Kim Kardashian but which Wiz actually used to represent a type of marijuana.

During the rant, Wets mentioned Amber Rose and and her and Wiz's toddler son, Sebastian. Being the protective mother she is, Rose chimed in with an NSFW retort about West enjoying certain sexual favors.

Luckily, the three ended up putting their differences aside as West vowed to never speak about kids again. Rose also met up with Kim, and took an Internet-breaking selfie with her to prove there's no beef.

Kanye West vs. Jay Z: Let's close out the last of Kanye's feuds with his most recent remarks directed at Jay Z and Beyoncé last month.

He left fans bewildered during a Nov. 20 concert as he said, "Beyoncé, I was hurt cos heard that you said you wouldn't perform unless you won Video of the Year over me and over 'Hotline Bling,'" he told the crowd, later adding, "We are all great people. We are all equal. But sometimes, we be playing the politics too much and forgetting who we are just to win. F--k winning! F--k looking cool! F--k being cool! F--k all that!"

He concluded, "I've been sitting here to give ya'll my truth even at the risk of my own life. Even at the risk of my own success, my own career. I've been sitting here to give ya'll the truth!" He added, "Jay Z, call me , bro! You still ain't calling me. Jay Z, call me…Jay Z, I know you got killers. Please don't send them at my head. Just call me. Talk to me like a man!"

Katy Perry vs. Taylor Swift: Though he wasn't actually involved in this rift, Kanye still managed to make his way into the beef with the two pop singers that has been going on for years now.

In the latest bout of controversy, Perry celebrated her 32nd birthday in October at the rapper's concert, during which she posted a video dancing to his "Famous" lyrics about Swift, making faces that definitely seemed to insinuate similar feelings as 'Ye.

Just a month earlier than that, Perry was asked if she would ever collaborate with Swift. Her response? "If she ever apologizes," proving the feud continues between these two singers.

Swift, on the other hand, has never mentioned Perry or their "feud," and thus, fans asked: what does Swift have to apologize for?

Calvin Harris vs. Taylor Swift: And since we're chatting about Swift, we might as well mention the feud between her and her ex-boyfriend that erupted after she began dating Tom Hiddleston just a few weeks following their split.

After the pop star's team revealed she helped write Harris' hit "This Is What You Came For" under the pseudonym Nils Sjoberg, the Scottish DJ unleashed some fury on Twitter. "I figure if you're happy in your new relationship you should focus on that instead of trying to tear your ex bf down for something to do," Harris tweeted (and then deleted). "I know you're off tour and you need someone new to try and bury like Katy [Perry] ETC but I'm not that guy, sorry. I won't allow it."

He continued, "Please focus on the positive aspects of YOUR life because you've earned a great one. God bless everyone have a beautiful day."

After the rant, Swift and Harris reportedly talked things out and are friendly now. He even thanked her for her help on "This Is What You Came For" recently.

Chrissy Teigen and John Legend vs. Piers Morgan: Let's be honest, Piers Morgan has feuded with pretty much everyone on the face of the planet, but his argument with the famous couple got many people riled up.

After Muhammed Ali's death in June, the British journalist took to Twitter claiming the boxing legend was more racist than Donald Trump. Legend wrote back, "You could test us by announcing your retirement." Teigen had his back, adding, "From what? Trolling isn't a job (I've tried)."

The back and forth has continued between them ever since.

Holly Madison vs. Kendra Wilkinson-Baskett: Madison released a tell-all book about living in the Playboy mansion with Hugh Hefner and Wilkinson-Baskett, and let's just say she didn't have many good things to say.

Madison called her Girls Next Door co-star the "fakest" person she's ever met and admitted there's absolutely no love lost between the two. Wilkinson-Baskett clapped back calling Madison a "bitch" and claiming she was simply getting revenge because she didn't get to marry Hefner and have his babies.

Kelly Ripa vs. Michael Strahan: The former football player surprised everyone—including Ripa—when he announced his departure from Live! in April, and let's just say the weeks following the news and his imminent exit in May were not so pleasant between the two.

Not only did Ripa often shade Strahan while working their last shows together—calling him out on his divorces, giving him side-eye and always referencing his exit—she also sent many subliminal messages, walking around with props for photographers to catch her holding. Even after his departure, she made several sly remarks.

Strahan told People later on, "I wasn't surprised by her reaction at all, but I can't control somebody else's actions."

He continued, "The most disappointing thing to me was that I was painted as the bad guy because I value the way I carry myself. I don't want people to see me as, 'Oh! He just ran out, just left them there.' That's just not true."

Finally, he said, "At one point, I think we were friends. I don't know what happened at the end. I learned a lot from her. It's about more than just being in front of the camera."

Mariah Carey vs. Jennifer Lopez: This feud has gone on since the '90s—you know, that iconic moment in which Mimi told paparazzi she'd never heard of Jennifer Lopez—but that doesn't make it any less juicy.

J.Lo chatted about the comment earlier this year, telling Wendy Williams, "[Mariah] is forgetful I guess! We've met many times."

A few weeks later Carey laughed when paps mentioned it and quipped, "I still don't know her!" Ouch!

Dwayne Johnson vs. Vin Diesel: Though the turmoil still remains a bit unclear, in August, Johnson posted a cryptic message on Instagram, slamming his male co-stars from Fast 8.

"Some conduct themselves as stand up men and true professionals, while others don't," he wrote. "The ones that don't are too chicken s--t to do anything about it anyway. Candy asses."

Diesel appeared to respond to the post, taking to Instagram a few days later in a video message. "So much has gone on this year. I can't believe I wrapped two back-to-back pictures I both starred in and produced," he said. "Now I get to return to my family, my life...So give me a second, and I will tell you everything. Everything."

In November, Johnson admitted he didn't regret the comments. "I was very clear with what I said. I've been in the game a long time. Would Universal [Pictures] have preferred that didn't happen? Sure, we talked about it," he said. "The irony is after that...the interest [in Fast 8] shot through the roof to a whole other level."

Azealia Banks vs. Russell Crowe: The singer claimed the Oscar winner got physical with her during a hotel party in October.

She took to Facebook, claiming the incident went down at a Beverly Hills hotel suite where Crowe "called me a n----r, choked me, threw me out and spat at me." She demanded a public apology and even filed a police report against the actor.

However, many eyewitnesses were at the party and defended Crowe, claiming Banks was, in fact, the "assaultive" one. He was later cleared from the case.

Stephanie Seymour vs. Kendall Jenner and Gigi Hadid: During an interview in June, the former model claimed Jenner and Hadid weren't "supermodels." Rather, she said they should be called, "Bitches of the moment."

Both Jenner and Hadid spoke out about the comment. Kendall even took to her app to pen a blog post about how she'll behave differently in the future. "When I'm older, I'm going to be so nice to anyone who's trying to do the same thing as me...That's the classy way to behave and I fully intend on being a positive influence on anyone younger than me, my entire life."

Seymour eventually clarified her statement, saying,  "A supermodel is a supermodel. I respect and admire all these women in my industry, in particular Gigi Hadid and Kendall Jenner. Having been in the business over 20 years I know how hard these women work. Bravo to both Gigi and Kendall for their success!!"

Anthony Bourdain vs. Guy Fieri: Yes, the famous chefs have continued to beef.

The feud began in 2015 when Bourdain poked fun at Fieri in a magazine, saying, "I wonder about him. He's 52 years old and still rolling around in the flame outfit…What does he do? How does Guy Fieri de-douche?"

Fieri later fired back, saying Bourdain has "definitely gotta have issues, 'cos the average person doesn't behave that way."

Earlier this year, Bourdain softened his stance about Fieri, saying, "I have no hate in my heart for the guy. He doesn't make me angry. He's just low-hanging fruit. He's a rich and deep source of comedy."

However, his mood seemed to change by June when he told Adweek, "I would greatly prefer to not have a Guy Fieri restaurant in Times Square...It hurts me. It offends me, but somebody clearly loves it."
