There's simply no denying the fact that 2016 has been rough, and we're not even talking politics.
That's right, Hollywood was feeling the sting from a multitude of splits between some of the town's most famous faces.
It seems like everyone from Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt to Amber Heard and Johnny Depp were, quite publicly, calling it quits on their marriages.
And from contentious splits played out in the press, to blink-and-you-may-have-missed-it amicable breakups like Drew Barrymore and Will Kopelman's or even Demi Lovato and Wilmer Valderrama, couples were parting ways left and right it seemed.
But even though there were multiple divorce announcements, and seemingly never-ending amounts of split news in headlines lately, most couples walked away from their relationships drama-free.
So here's to a brand new year which will hopefully be filled with brand spanking new couples to help us get over the splits that we're still sadly mourning.
