Shia LaBeouf is a changed man after marrying his now-wife Mia Goth!

The actor chatted with E! News at the premiere of Man Down on Wednesday night, revealing how his perspective on marriage has changed after tying the knot.

"It's better on the other side," he admitted. "I've been lied to my whole life. You always hear these people who are all cynical, like, 'Ah, man, once you get married everything changes. But for the better though!"

In fact, one thing he's really excited about his starting new traditions while celebrating their first holiday season as a married couple.

"I'm about to create some new ones," he told us. "My mom will be involved, her mom will be involved…I'll probably have to do Hanukkah and Christmas and Kwanza and the whole nine."

LaBeouf and Goth wed during a surprise ceremony in Las Vegas on Oct. 10, 2016.

At the time, TMZ shared a livestream video feed of the couple saying "I do" at the Viva Las Vegas chapel in Sin City during a Vegas-themed ceremony. Though we're not sure whether any family or friends attended the ceremony, they were joined by some onlookers who were dressed in costume, including an Elvis Presley impersonator (naturally) and a hula dancer.

Meanwhile, the pair first started dating in 2012 after meeting on the set of Nymphomaniac. Then, in 2015 Goth was spotted wearing a ring on her finger, which prompted rumors that they had gotten engaged.

Looks like it was all true!
