It might be a tale as old as time, but the first trailer for the live-action Beauty and the Beast film reveals that there might be some differences come March 17, 2017.

The first official trailer dropped Monday morning, and it featured everything Disney fans could have ever wanted and more: a look at Belle (Emma Watson) interacting with Beast (Dan Stevens), Gaston (Luke Evans) in all of his macho glory and the castle objects come to life.

But if you weren't watching with a close eye, you might have overlooked some important details that provide insight into what's to come next spring. Here are five things you might have missed from the trailer:

1. While you were wrapped up in the remixed version of "Beauty and the Beast" playing in the background, you might have missed that none of the characters is seen singing any songs. That's right, there are no street-wide chants of "Gaston" or even a hint of "Be Our Guest," but based on the footage that made it into the trailer, it seems that these songs will definitely appear.

2. Belle has an updated wardrobe. When Entertainment Weekly released a first look at Beauty and the Beast, the costume designer revealed Watson wanted to put a more modern spin on Belle's ensemble. Ballet shoes and corsets be gone, because Watson believes Belle is an "active" princess. As a result, she'll be wearing boots throughout the movie. The famous yellow dress will also be corset-free, which will prevent restraint.

3. Belle is jailed! In the animated movie Belle was put into a bedroom while she remained the Beast's captive, but in the live-action version Belle is put into a jail cell at the top of a tower.

4. In the opening scene viewers get a wide-view of the castle's interior, but if you look closely you can see Beast looming over the glass-covered rose. Is he concerned about his fate? Probably.

5. The magic doesn't stop with your favorite characters such as Cogsworth, Chip, Mrs. Potts and Lumiere. While Beast is in the kitchen talking with Cogsworth and co., the stove in the background can be seen doing all the cooking. That's right—no chef required!
