World, meet Raven Baxter's kids!

Casting is underway for the just-announced That's So Raven spinoff, and E! News has exclusive intel on the new characters we'll meet when the as-yet-untitled series debuts in 2017.

The show follows the two pre-teen children of divorced mom Raven (original star Raven-Symoné, who is also producing the new series). One of the kiddos has inherited Raven's ability to see glimpses of the future. Those children are:

Nia is Raven's bold and confident daughter, and like her mother, she will get the power to see visions of the future, which will complicate her life, especially seeing how she's just started middle school. Also like her mother, Nia won'y give up once she's set her mind to something, which tends to land her in trouble sometimes, but she always wanted to help people and do the right thing.

As for Raven's younger child, meet Booker, her innocent, sweet and naive son, who is in no rush to grow up. Unlike his sister, Booker won't do anything bad unless he's tricked into doing it, and is a proud mama's boy. While he may be slightly gullible, Booker is willing to stand up for himself once he realizes what's going on.

Raven announced in late October that she's leaving The View at the end of the year to work on the new series. There's no title yet, but she's calling it That's So Raven 2. "I'm just so excited," she said.

"Raven's brilliant style of fearless comedy was a driving force for Disney Channel's success around the world. Her performance in That's So Raven is timeless," said Disney Channels Worldwide executive vice president of original programming Adam Bonnett in a statement when the news was announced.

"We now have our eyes on the future with her, and we're looking forward to telling more stories for a new generation with an adult Raven Baxter raising her young family."

Production is scheduled to begin on the new series in early 2017.
