Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth don't typically go out in public together, but when they do, they make a colorful splash.

Such was the case Sunday when the engaged pair arrived at the MaRS Gallery in Los Angeles for Vijat Mohindra's photography exhibit. The stars certainly were not trying to hide when they picked out their outfits for the event. The Voice coach wore vibrant yellow head to toe while her fiancé decided on a multi-colored print jacket with dark denim.

"We decided to dress in yellow, red  & blue to support our talented friend @vijatm," one attendee explained their vibrant clothing on social media.

The two stars even posed for photos with the small group and snapped a silly selfie. "Took this pic of two of the coolest & nicest humans on the planet!" one user captioned a photograph of the pair.

"So proud of my bad ass mega photographer/friend @vijatm on his first solo gallery exhibition! #alwaysbelievesomethingwonderfulisabouttohappen Love you," Cyrus wrote on Instagram.

Meanwhile, something wonderful is also on the horizon for Cyrus and Hemsworth—their wedding!

After one broken engagement and two years apart, the Disney alum started sporting her engagement sparkler again on Instagram, signaling to fans that they were officially back on and on their way to becoming husband and wife.

However, it seems the actress is trying to find a balance between bridal tradition and her own signature style.

"This is really weird because this is like real jewelry and most of my jewelry is made out of gummy bears and cotton candy and they don't look that good together because they kind of mix up, so sometimes I replace it with an actual unicorn or a Looney tune," the singer told Ellen DeGeneres of her engagement sparkler.

"He's kind of like, 'What's going on?' It's like, well, this isn't really my aesthetic, but I'll wear it because you love me."
