When it comes to Hollywood bromances, a few famous pairings may come to mind.

There's the solid friendship between Matt Damon and Ben Affleck.  We can't deny the bond between George Clooney and Rande Gerber. And as it turns out, Hugh Jackman and Zac Efron may be reaching that special friendship level.

Over the weekend, the Hollywood stars headed to Broadway where they watched the talented cast of Waitress perform live inside the Brooks Atkinson Theatre.

"With @zacefron after watching the enormously talented cast of @waitressmusical," Hugh shared on Instagram while posing with some of the cast. "If you get a chance—grab a ticket!"

The gang also experienced Joe's Pie Diner when they mingled with Jessie MuellerCaitlin HoulahanKeala Settle and 5-year-old cast members Cate Elefante and Ella Dane Morgan.

Just last month, the pair also headed to Metlife Stadium where they posed for selfies and got access on the field to watch the New York Jets face off against the Seattle Seahawks.

"Thanks @nyjets for an awesome day and for letting 3 man-boys hang on your field!" Hugh shared with his followers. "@zacefron @gusworland."

To be fair, the friendship likely stems from an exciting new movie project that's currently in production.

Just last week, Zac posted a picture on Instagram from the set of The Greatest Showman. 20th Century Fox's latest musical focuses on P.T. Barnum (Hugh) who happens to be the founder of the traveling Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus.

Michelle Williams and Zendaya have also reportedly been cast in the project.

"Perfect fit. #thegreatestshowman," Zac wrote on Instagram while posing next to Hugh on set.
