Watch: Phaedra Parks: "Trailer Is a Watered Down Version"

Oh, you thought things couldn't get more dramatic than that Real Housewives of Atlanta season nine teaser? Well, buckle up.

According to Phaedra Parks, the trailer didn't even show the half of it. "I thought the trailer was, really, a watered-down version of what you're gonna see," she told E! News' Zuri Hall in advance of Sunday's big premiere. "Honey, it's way more explosive than that."

What, pray tell, does she mean by that tease? "Well, of course, someone's trying to blow me up." Of course.

"This year, unlike other years, you know how sometimes it's about the group dynamics and the infighting? This year, we really explore relationships and, really, the family unit. So, you see a lot with Kenya [Moore] and her lover," Phaedra revealed, teasing the trailer's drama between Kenya and her boyfriend Matt, who seems poised to reveal a rather angry side to him we didn't see last season.

Speaking of Kenya, what's all that footage in the teaser that seems to show a rekindled friendship between her and Phaedra about? "Kenya and I have had a sordid relationship," Phaedra admitted. "It's been very tumultuous at times. This year, we have found ourselves at a place of peace. When she originally came on the show, I was her friend. But, of course, you know what happens after that."

So, friends then? "I don't know. Friend is a very strong term in this circle. I would say we're having some very heartfelt moments," Phaedra teased. "You know, people have said when we're together it's like Diahann Caroll and Joan Collins, the Dynasty remix." In other words, don't expect completely smooth sailing between these two.
