What's going on with knees and Dancing With the Stars? A week after Sharna Burgess was sidelined from the competition with a knee injury (her competition status is still TBD), Gleb Savchenko, Jana Kramer's professional dance partner, is sitting out rehearsals and may miss Monday's show thanks to his knee.
"Sorry @kramergirl for not being able to rehears [sic] with you today, hopefully my knee will be better and I can dance on Monday night @dancingabc thanks @alanbersten for standing in," he said on social media.
In a statement, Dancing With the Stars said Gleb has been advised to rest.
"Doctors have advised Gleb to rest his knee. In the meantime, he is helping Jana as she continues to rehearse for Monday's show," a rep for the show said.
There's no word on whether he'll be able to hit the stage or if Alan Bersten will perform in his place with Jana.
Last week Jenna Johnson performed with Indy driver James Hinchcliffe in place of Sharna. Sharna told us she would be back before viewers know it.
"The trick is to really find the best treatment available and that's what I did. I made the really difficult choice to leave James for three days, go to Ohio and sought out the best available treatment in the country and as a result I'm healing quicker than ever," she told us. "I really do plan on being back next Monday. If these doctors tell me I can't, apparently I have to listen to them. And if it's not next Monday it will be on the one after that. Oh, I'm back."
Stay tuned to see if Gleb hits the dance floor with Jana. The two were scheduled to dance the Waltz to "She Used to Be Mine" from the Broadway musical Waitress.
Dancing With the Stars airs Mondays, 8 p.m. on ABC.
