Garth Brooks really loves her.
On the heels of being dubbed the 2016 CMA Entertainer of the Year, the country crooner stopped to talk to E!'s Carissa Culiner about his win and his longtime wife.
"I feel really lucky," he said. "I feel great. I have to say the band and crew—they have put in the deserving to win this."
She may not be part of the band or crew, but Trisha Yearwood also earns Brook's endless high praise as his partner of over a decade—both on and off the stage. "At any time I doubt myself, she reminds me. Any time I'm not feeling up for it, she reminds me. She always reminds me who I am and I am the lucky man that belongs to her," he gushed while explaining how they keep the love alive after all this time. "With that, I think you can get through anything. [I] love our family, love our girls."
He echoed the sentiment when he accepted his prestigious statue Wednesday night at the 50th annual ceremony. "The coolest touring mate you could ever ask for, the love of my life, the breath I breath in and out—Ms. Yearwood, I love you very, very much," he announced at the mic.
At every turn, Brooks couldn't celebrate his industry or the milestone evening without acknowledging the Emmy, Grammy and CMA Award-winning Yearwood. "A huge THANK YOU to all of those that made Country Music what it is today, including my wife!" he tweeted.
"Standing next to the QUEEN makes any day a great day, but especially today!" he wrote on Instagram with a photo of the couple posing for fans.
The night was a busy one for the couple as they took the stage together to perform a medley of country classics, including "Jackson," "Don't It Make My Brown Eyes Blue" and "Golden Ring." Country music's power couple ended the tribute hand in hand as the crowd went wild.
After his fifth Entertainer of the Year win, the country star told E! News he planned to celebrate wherever his wife would be.
"I don't think we're gonna go home, but we're gonna be together I can tell you that," he said. "Wherever that woman is is home."
The feeling was certainly mutual. As Yearwood penned on Instagram, "Hanging backstage with the entertainer of a lifetime #luckygirl."
