A legal representative has spoken out on Scottie Pippen's behalf after two 911 calls placed by Larsa Pippen were published by TMZ

In a statement to E! News released Wednesday, it reads, "Mr. Pippen is aware that some members of the press have obtained 911 recordings recently made by Ms. Pippen. While these recordings speak for themselves, Ms. Pippen did not make any allegations of physical violence by Mr. Pippen."

"Although Mr. and Ms. Pippen both have public personas, their divorce is a private matter. Mr. Pippen requests that the press respect his privacy and that of his family during this time," the statement continued.

This response comes less than 24 hours after audio footage surfaced of Larsa's Oct. 1 and Oct. 4 calls to police, in wish she claimed the former NBA star got "really aggressive" with her. Larsa is heard telling the dispatcher, "Can you send someone over here? My husband's being really aggressive with me."

When asked by the 911 operator if the altercation was verbal or physical, a male voice responds, "Verbal," adding, "There's no incident m'am." Larsa then asks the request for help to be canceled.

Three days later, the 42-year-old mother of four placed a second call to 911 where she tells the operator, "My husband's gotten crazy again with me."

In late October, E! News reported that Fort Lauderdale Police responded to the Pippen household twice over domestic disturbance incidents, but as TMZ alleged, no arrests were made on either occasion.

On Oct. 21 E! News confirmed that Scottie, 51, filed for divorce from the his wife after 19 years of marriage.

As for what catalyzed the pair's split, an insider told us, "Scottie and Larsa have been separated for quite some time living separate lives. Scottie has been residing in Chicago where his businesses are while Larsa has been living in Miami full time raising their children."
