Directioners, prepare yourselves for one very special book.

As the countdown continues for the release of Zayn Malik's autobiography titled Zayn, fans are eagerly waiting to hear new facts about "Pillowtalk" singer.

The suspense only continued this evening when the former One Direction member opened up about his latest project that is available to all Tuesday morning.

"This book is my diary of a period of time that I would like to share with you all," he wrote on Instagram. "I hope that there are things in the book that contextualize some of the moments and memories we have all shared together."

He continued, "There are things I address in the book that are very personal to me, things that I have never told anyone, things I still find hard to talk about. It's a part of a journey that I am still on."

How can we not be intrigued after that?

As thousands of fans eagerly wait to get their hands on a copy, we're taking a look at the excerpts and confessions that have surfaced online. And no matter what is read on the pages, Zayn has one final message for his fans.

"The good news is today, I am inspired, I am healthy and I am grateful," he wrote. "Enjoy."

Going Solo: When given the opportunity to sing and record tracks alone, Zayn wrote that he was able to explore more topics he may not have able to pursue as a member of 1D.  "Every lyric I've ever written has a story behind it," he wrote in the book via Daily Mail. "All the hard work that went into the creation of ‘Pillowtalk' was worthwhile because, as soon as it was finished, I intuitively felt I was on the right path…I was also able to sing about a subject that I hadn't really been able to go near while I was in One Direction: sex."

Tales From a Boy Band: If you're expecting a juicy revelation from Zayn's experience in One Direction, you're not getting one, at least yet. "When I was still in One Direction, fans would write stories based on me and the other lads and publish them online," Zayn wrote in an except on Wattpad. "It's crazy to think that we inspired so many different stories and the opportunity for so much creativity from so many people all over the world. I'm going to show you as much as I can so that you can judge me on my own terms, not on what the press or anyone else says."

A Son's Tribute: In an excerpt posted on Rolling Stone's website, fans learned that "Intermission: Flower" was inspired by his father, a guitar and the Pakistani musician Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan. "It was [important] for me to do well for [my dad], to earn his approval. My dad's a hard worker and he has strong values. He was a personal trainer and is solidly built, and he used to go on at me all the time about being a good student and getting the right education," Zayn wrote. "He wanted the best for me, and I wanted to please him in return...I wanted to show him, as much as everyone else, that I could do it, and once the tracks started coming together with Malay and a number of other producers I'd been working with, I began to feel that I was really able to express myself vocally and I hoped my parents were going to see it from my side."

Drink Please: If you ever get the opportunity to treat Zayn to a drink, you may want to read this excerpt. When working in the studio with Grammy winning producer Malay, the singer explored a different type of refreshment. "He started every session by describing some crazy fancy bottle of red wine that he and his buddy Manny (who mixed half my album) were currently ‘really into,'" Zayn recalled according to Fader. "I had barely ever drunk red wine before, I'm more of a beer or whisky guy, but Malay somehow got me into drinking wine. I still don't do the swirl it around in the glass thing though—I'll leave that one to him."

Proud One D Alum: "I can honestly say I'm proud of a lot of stuff from the One Direction days. I'm not sure people realize that, but I am," Zayn wrote in an excerpt obtained by Teen Vogue. "I've got the memorabilia – the platinum discs we received with every album—all over my house. I have a wall dedicated to displaying them. One Direction was an incredible experience in its own right, and it's a part of me, an integral part of my history, and I'm never going to deny that aspect of my life."
