Carrie Underwood is seemingly never busier than at this time of year.
Not only does she have her usual music-related obligations and the holidays are getting underway, but for the past eight years she's been gearing up to co-host the CMA Awards with Brad Praisley.
And that is once again what she's doing right now, rehearsing their always-enjoyable bits and figuring out the dozen outfits she'll wear tomorrow when she and Paisley do the honors for the ninth year in a row.
Luckily E! News' Carissa Culiner managed to catch up with Carrie recently while she was in Houston promoting her CALIA by Carrie Underwood partnership with DICK'S Sporting Goods—downtime, if you will, for the star, who's also quite dedicated to fitness and continues to expand her line of exercise and athleisure wear that's chic enough to go from the studio (as in yoga, CrossFit, boxing et al.) to the street.
Speaking of which, the artist revealed her favorite way to work up a sweat and she may have coined a new phrase when it comes to combining two other leisure activities.
"Can I have a snap?!" she wondered—but you'll have to watch the video to see what she meant as she blazed through 14 questions in 42 seconds.
Meanwhile, in addition to hosting the CMAs for the ninth time, Underwood is nominated for four awards, including Entertainer of the Year, somehow her first time nominated in that category. Later this month, the Storyteller artist is up for three honors at the 2016 American Music Awards on Nov. 20.
But first thing's first: the 50th annual CMA Awards airs Nov. 2 at 8 p.m. on ABC. Expect the usual good time.
