Jasmine Tookes still can't believe she's wearing the Fantasy Bra at the 2016 Victoria's Secret Fashion Show.
E! News caught up with the Victoria's Secret Angel at the store's new 5th Avenue location, the largest one in the world, where she told us all about finding out she had been selected to wear it. "I'm so excited. I still pinch myself every day and today is finally the day I can share with everybody," she gushed. "I've been holding this secret for about five months now."
That's quite a while to have to hold onto such a (Victoria's) secret! But even breaking the news to her turned out to be a very secretive experience.
"I just found out out of nowhere," she admitted. "I thought I was doing an interview for bralettes."
This will be Tookes' fifth year walking the show, and her second year as a certified Angel. In terms of how she's handling the honor, Tooks said, "I stay happy and very humble and embrace it."
Designed by Eddie Borgo, the Bright Night Fantasy Bra is valued at $3 million. The hand-crafted bra features jewels by AWMouzannar and took nearly 700 hours to create. It's adorned with nearly 9,000 precious gemstones and weighs more than 450 carats, with diamonds and emeralds in 18-karat gold. Upon learning she would be wearing the luxurious lingerie, Tookes immediately FaceTimed her mom.
"She immediately dropped into tears," Tookes said of her mom's reaction.
Perhaps even more overwhelming for Tookes is the group of models who were selected in previous years. "The day I found out I googled who has worn it in the past, and you see Tyra Banks and Heidi Klum and you're like, 'Where do I fit in this?!'"
She added, "I guess it's happening, so it's such a dream."
Tookes also opened up about new moms Behati Prinsloo and Candice Swanepoel, telling us that she hasn't met their newborns just yet. "I'm so happy for both of them," she gushed. "They're the most beautiful moms, and I know they'll be the best moms."
