Well, this is certainly something to sing about.

Crazy Ex-Girlfriend has had some incredible guest stars stop by to sing a song or two in West Covina with Rebecca Bunch (Rachel Bloom)—Ricki Lake, Amber Riley, Lea Salonga to name just a few—but they've just landed arguably their biggest star yet. E! News can exclusively reveal that the legendary Patti LuPone will be stopping by for an episode later this season.

In the 10th episode of season two, slated to air in the new year, LuPone will play a pivotal person from Rebecca's past that she rediscovers when she returns to her hometown for a family celebration.

While there's no official word on whether she'll be singing on the show, you don't hire a two-time Grammy and Tony winner for nothing, now do you? Expect some musical magic.

LuPone is hardly the only star power stopping by the critically beloved CW series for some fun in season two. Brittany Snow will appear in three episodes this season, while Greek alum Scott Michael Foster joins as a recurring guest star later down the line, as well.

Are you as stoked about LuPone on Crazy Ex as we are? Let us know in the comments below.

Crazy Ex-Girlfriend airs Fridays at 9 p.m. on the CW.
