After 19 years of marriage, Scottie Pippen is calling it quits.

The retired NBA star filed for divorce from wife Larsa Pippen earlier this week, TMZ reported Friday, and according to a statement from Larsa's camp, it sounds as though the feeling is mutual.

"After careful consideration and 19 years together, Larsa and Scottie have each filed for dissolution of their marriage," a rep for the former Real Housewives of Miami star told us in a statement. "Although they are no longer to be married, Larsa remains hopeful that she and Scottie will always do what is best for their 4 beautiful children and jointly raise them with love and respect.

"She would like to thank everyone for their understanding and kindly ask for privacy from the media during this difficult time of transition for her family."

No further details were immediately available, but the Pippens were together in New York City just a month ago during Fashion Week to watch their 7-year-old daughter Sophia model in the Rookie USA Presents Kids Rock! show at the Skylight at Moynihan Station.

In 2012 the family had moved back to Chicago, where Scottie won six NBA Championships with the Bulls alongside Michael Jordan, after living for some years in Florida, where Larsa, who's also a close friend of Kim Kardashian, joined the Real Housewives franchise for one season.

"I feel like the people in Chicago are really grounded. It's better for our family," Larsa told the Chicago Sun-Times upon their return to the Windy City.

This was the second marriage for Scottie, who also has three children from previous relationships.
