Set Sail With Spider-Man: Marvel Superheroes Are Heading to Disney Cruise Line in 2017

Disney Cruise Line is getting some very special guests!

The company announced that starting in 2017 there will be the first-ever Marvel Day at Sea. The exciting event will unite Marvel's comics, animated series and films for an action-packed day at sea for guests. Disney Cruise Line's new event will feature all-day entertainment including meet-and-greets with some of Marvel's iconic superheroes and their nemeses.

It was also feature a deck party, Marvel-themed youth activities, special merchandise and unique food and beverage offerings.

Of course, it wouldn't be a true Disney experience without screenings of fan-favorite films! Guests will be able to watch movies from the Marvel Universe, including Guardians of the Galaxy and Disney XD shows such as Avengers Assemble.

Marvel Day at Sea will be on seven- and eight-night Disney Magic Bahamian cruises departing from New York on Oct. 6, 14, 28; Nov. 4, 11 and 18, 2017. All trips will include a stop at Disney's private island Castaway Cay and Port Canaveral, Fla., with a day at the Walt Disney World Resort.

Marvel Day at Sea will be on one seven-night Canadian Coast cruise departing from New York on Oct. 21, 2017, with stops at Charlottetown, Sydney and Halifax.
