Watch: Rachel McAdams Up for a "Mean Girls" Musical?

On Wednesdays, we wear pink!

Forgive us, but I think we're going to break out the pink right now because—get ready for it!—Rachel McAdams says she's up for a Mean Girls reunion.

I sat down with the True Detective actress yesterday while she was promoting Doctor Strange and, of course, I had to ask  if she'd be interested in being a part of Tina Fey's upcoming Mean Girls musical.

"Sure," McAdams said. "I mean, I loved that movie. I love Tina Fey. I love the girls. I mean, to get to kind of have a reunion would be...we got to have a reunion at a photo shoot a couple of years ago and it was over like that and it wasn't enough. I was back in it."

Asked if Regina would be a mom today, McAdams suggested, "Regina's probably had a few."

Probably mean babies? McAdams cracked, "Babies who are plotting your demise in the womb."

It was announced earlier this month that the Mean Girls musical will premiere in Washington, D.C. A theater and date have yet to be revealed.

McAdams starred in the 2004 movie with Fey, Lindsay Lohan, Lacey Chabert and Amanda Seyfried.

Fey told Andy Cohen on Watch What Happens Live in March that she has no plans to be in the stage show, which she described as a "classic Broadway" production.

She also joked that it wouldn't hit the Great White Way until 2027, "when Hamilton closes."
